475 George St., Peterborough Redevelopment Project
SIRATI was retained by George & Murray Development Corporation part of Atria Development to undertake a range of engineering services for the 475 George St, Peterborough Redevelopment Project. Our services included:
- Detailed Geotechnical Investigation
- Environmental Site Assessment to include Phase One ESA, Phase Two ESA and Record of Site Conditions (RCS)
- Environmental Delineation (Phase Three ESA) and Risk Assessment (RA)
- Designated Substance Study (DSS)
- Development of Asbestos Abatement Specification
- Asbestos Removal and Certification Program
- Archaeological Assessment- Stage 1 & 2
The project is located at the site of the former YMCA building and the intent is to preserve its historical heritage while redeveloping the site for a new condominium development. As part of the redevelopment, some part of the existing building will be demolished and re-built.
